Joseph S. Newman is the Managing Director at Newman Wealth Management Advisors. As a financial professional with over 35 years of experience in the industry, Joe specializes in building and managing portfolios. He offers invaluable knowledge and depth of experience in the field.

After earning a Bachelor degree in History from Wagner College, Joe ran his own business for several years before starting his career in the financial industry. He served in some of the most prominent firms, including Gibraltar Securities, Shearson Lehman Brothers, Smith Barney, Prudential Securities, Wachovia Securities, Raymond James and Wells Fargo. He holds his series 7 and 63 securities registrations held through LPL Financial as well as insurance licenses in health, long term care, life and annuities.

Joe works closely with clients to identify their individual needs and then aligns plans to support their goals. Dedicated to designing customized portfolios, Joe carefully listens to clients and then draws from his broad experience to develop appropriate recommendations. He genuinely cares about his clients and strives to be an honest, sincere and trustworthy guide. Many clients have become Joe’s trusted, lifelong friends.

Joe and his wife, Marsha, live in Lake Hiawatha, New Jersey, where they raised their two sons, Matthew and Andrew. Proud grandparents of five grandchildren, Joe and Marsha enjoy traveling together and spending time with their family. Joe is an avid golfer and loves to read.
